Equipping Churches to
Stand For Life

When churches fully embrace what it means to be holistically life-affirming, we can cultivate a society where every person is genuinely valued with inherent dignity. The Bible says that all people are created in the image of God, and when we truly understand that, it changes absolutely everything. Education is the first step to equipping your church to Stand For Life.

Image of God Study

The Image of God curriculum is a small group study that will equip your church with theological, ethical, and practical tools to live out a life-affirming vision and mission. It’s different from most pro-life training because it shares a holistic approach to life. It looks at not only caring for the preborn, but also caring for women, children, and those who are disabled, mentally ill, elderly, or vulnerable for any reason.

This 6-week study asks tough questions and looks for answers in God’s Word to:

  • What is life?
  • How are we supposed to love everyone?
  • How do we care for the unwanted, the vulnerable, or the unseen?
  • What does it mean to be holistically pro-life?

Image of God study comes with weekly video training presented by Benjamin Watson. See a detailed overview of each chapter here. Study books can be purchased individually or group bundles. Group members also have the option to register for the free online version which includes a learning management system to track progress.

Weekly Training

God created all people in His image. This powerful, biblical truth is the starting point for the Image of God study. Through six weekly lessons, participants view life holistically and learn how to Stand For Life – loving all people well at every stage of life.

Benjamin Watson
The Image of God study equips Christians with theological, ethical, and practical tools necessarily to live out a truly pro-life mission and vision.
Phillip Bethancourt
Senior Pastor
Image of God study is an essential resource for pastors and church leaders seeking to cultivate a holistic pro-life vision within their congregations. Through theologically sound teachings, the curriculum equips believers to understand the sanctity of life from a biblical perspective, make ethical choices in matters of life and death, and embody Christ's compassion to become his hands and feet in the world. When we used this curriculum in our church, it had a big impact on our people. I trust that it will make a big difference in your church as well.
Daniel Patterson
Executive Pastor
Standing for life as a witness against a creeping culture of death is at the forefront of what must be this generation’s defining public priority. The magnitude of this need is met by the mission of this great organization, and I am grateful for the great work and great team at Stand For Life.
