Collaboration Report: Embrace Grace
How Stand For Life Partners with Other Pro-life Organizations
Founded by Amy Ford, Embrace Grace continues to lead the charge in transforming how churches across the U.S. support women facing unplanned pregnancies. With over 1,200 churches running Embrace Grace support groups, the ministry is building a nationwide network of safe places where moms can find belonging, practical resources, and the hope of the gospel.
As partners in Stand For Life, Embrace Grace serves as a vital bridge between pro-life organizations, pregnancy centers, and churches, equipping them to show the love of Christ to women in need.
2024 Wins and Key Initiatives
Embrace Grace celebrated several major accomplishments in 2024, reflecting their ongoing growth and innovative outreach:
- 1,200+ Churches Activated: Embrace Grace saw a record number of churches lead support groups for moms in crisis pregnancies, helping women experience community and spiritual transformation.
- Enhanced Leaders App: The Embrace Grace app, designed for group leaders, was refined to provide better tools for tracking attendance, managing baby showers, and capturing real-time data on group interactions. The app also introduced a gift registry system to streamline baby shower donations and engage new supporters in the holistic pro-life movement.
- New Website Launch: Embrace Grace consolidated multiple platforms into a single, comprehensive website where users can join groups, find volunteer opportunities, donate, and explore resources tailored for pregnancy centers, churches, and dads.
- 100,000+ Love Boxes Distributed: In a significant milestone, Embrace Grace reached over 100,000 distributed Love Boxes—30,000 of which were sent out in 2024 alone. These boxes, which include a baby onesie, encouraging letters, and stories of moms who chose life, are distributed through pregnancy centers to invite women to join a local Embrace Grace group.
Amy expressed excitement about these initiatives, noting how they’ve expanded Embrace Grace’s ability to connect women with life-affirming support.
Growing Unity in the Holistic Pro-Life Movement
Amy shared her perspective on the holistic pro-life movement’s progress toward greater unity. She noted that churches have increasingly recognized their role in supporting women with unplanned pregnancies. “In the past, many churches saw this as a political issue,” Amy explained. “But now they’re seeing that they can be part of providing real support and solutions.”
Within Stand For Life, Amy has witnessed significant collaboration. “There is such trust among these organizations now,” she said. “When we refer a mom to another partner, we know she’ll be loved and cared for. That trust has taken years to build, but it’s transforming how we work together.”
However, Amy emphasized that there is still much work to be done, particularly in raising awareness within churches about the resources available through pregnancy centers and whole life pro-life organizations. “When I first started Embrace Grace, I didn’t even know a pro-life movement existed,” she said. “We need to do more to shine a light on these organizations so that the Church can partner with them and help save lives.”
Collaborative Success Stories
Embrace Grace has formed strong partnerships with other Stand For Life organizations, leading to impactful collaborations:
- Heartbeat International: Heartbeat has promoted Embrace Grace to its vast network of pregnancy centers, encouraging them to refer clients to church-based support groups. In 2024, the two organizations launched a formal partnership, and Embrace Grace will participate in Heartbeat’s upcoming conference to strengthen church engagement further.
- Human Coalition: Human Coalition refers women who need community and emotional support to Embrace Grace groups. Additionally, Embrace Grace provides Love Boxes to moms served by Human Coalition’s care network.
- Lifeline Children’s Services: When Embrace Grace moms express interest in adoption, the organization refers them to Lifeline, knowing they will receive compassionate, long-term care. “Lifeline’s staff doesn’t just walk away after placement,” Amy shared. “They continue to celebrate and support these moms, which means so much to us.”
- Save the Storks: Embrace Grace collaborates with Save the Storks to connect churches interested in mobile medical outreach with Save the Storks’ mobile ultrasound units.
These partnerships have deepened Embrace Grace’s ability to provide holistic care, ensuring that moms are supported at every stage of their journey.
Vision for 2025 and Beyond
Embrace Grace is embarking on a bold, long-term vision to ensure that every mom with an unplanned pregnancy has a church to turn to. Amy shared the details of this ambitious plan:
- Strategic Expansion: Based on national data, Embrace Grace has identified the need for 20,883 strategically placed churches to fully meet the needs of women across the U.S. This goal will be pursued over the next 25 years, starting in 2025.
- Mobilizing Church Leaders: Embrace Grace plans to continue equipping church leaders with resources to support moms in crisis, emphasizing the importance of spiritual and community care.
“This vision is about building a network where no woman feels alone or unsupported,” Amy explained. “We want every mom to know there’s a safe place where she can experience hope, healing, and belonging.”
Embrace Grace is calling on churches, donors, and volunteers to join them in this mission. “Together, we can create a world where every woman has the support she needs to choose life,” Amy concluded.
